Whilst I was searching through the 300 odd slides I purchased on eBay, I came across this one frame that the positive had slipped out of due to the glue being so old. I was the only frame like this in the whole lot and I really like the quite elusive instructions 'VIEW FROM OTHER SIDE' and thought this would make an interesting title for my installation as it allures to a voyeuristic insight into other peoples memories.
In addition to the abandoned slides I bought on eBay, I decided to have a few slides made to create a sort of flip book sequence film of some of the found footage with the creative code overlaid on to it. I really think this adds a interesting link between the digital and analog again and interestingly breaks up the found slides in a fragmented glitchy way.
