The Art of Boredom

I decided to focus this project on places that boredom normally occurs. I find that boredom is very situational and people often get bored carrying out everyday tasks, perhaps because of repetition, because they’d rather be doing something else or just that waiting for the bus isn’t that mentally stimulating. Boredom has a very negative stigma but from my research I have found that boredom has led to some of the most interesting pieces of art, literature and discoveries. I think in these situations, waiting for the bus, on hold, waiting for your laundry to finish or waiting in a queue, you can come up with some of the best ideas!
